LaKisha goes home
So Ryan gets back to the results really fast and tells Melinda Doolittle that she is safe.
So, it's down to Blake or LaKisha. Either one works for me, because the other will be gone next week, anyway.
I really wish Melinda didn't have that stupid stunned look on her face, though. I mean, how long is it going to take for her to get that people know she can sing??? It's getting really old.
After more than 45 million votes, LaKisha Jones is the next to go home. And now we're down to the final three. It's almost over!!!

Oh god I feel so bad for saying this but I hope Melinda actually goes home. I don't know why. I guess it is just that she has such a beautiful voice that no matter what she is going to make a career. I guess it is more of giving Blake or Jordin a push. Jordin could definately get a record out now but Blake might still need the push that American Idol gives to up and coming stars. Sorry to see LaKisha go home but she is going to make a record so good for her and I wish her luck.

I'm glad to see LaKisha go. She was getting tired and has given us all she could give. Her last couple of weeks have been awful with her screaming instead of singing. However, Blake's beatboxing is irritating. It's not singing...it's a mess. It's a no-brainer who goes home next week.

I'ts getting old about people saying Melinda has a "surprised" look on her face. That was in the past but people, get real--she doesn't do it any more. What kind of reaction would you expect if it were you? She remains mature and her eyes do not express shock so start taping the show and see it for yourself- then get over it.

I am so sorry to see LaKisha go. She has such soul in her singing. Blake is getting really annoying with the beatboxing. Once in a while ok, but not every song! I am starting to feel embarassed for him. Melinda does have that stupid surprised look every time she gets a compliment. It is so old! I have to say that although I originally wanted LaKisha, Jordin now has my vote. Is anyone else tried of Simon gettinh interupted constantly?

Agree, Melinda's expression "Who me? I can't believe this is happening to little old me" is getting as old as last month's news. Once Blake gets the boot, Melinda will have a real challenge with Jordin. Week after week, Jordin has gotten better and better to the point she has reached Melinda's singing gifts. On the other hand, Melinda hasn't really improved that much from Day One. She always was the best singer of the bunch with no real competition until Jordin started to get better and better. Now those two are equals. It'll be interesting to see if Jordin could outdo yesterday's number 1 to take the top spot. If Jordin does, I would love to see Melinda's facial expression, "Who me? I lost."

Now that Melinda was sent home you know why she used to have that "that stupid stunned look on her face".
Lately the judges were basically telling her that she is boring and that yes they know she sings very well but she had yet to surprise them.
